Terms of Service

Terms of Service.

The short version. Anything more specific lives in the engagement contract for a given show.

What this covers.

These terms govern the public-facing website at anydaylive.com and the initial inquiry process via hello@anydaylive.com. Once an engagement is signed via Master Services Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW), those contract terms govern that specific engagement.

Inquiry and quotes.

Sending us a brief at hello@anydaylive.com creates no obligation on your part. Quotes are non-binding until signed via SOW. We respond to briefs inside 4 business hours during waking hours; 24 hours guaranteed.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Engagements.

Once an SOW is signed, the engagement is governed by the contract terms — typically including: scope of work, deliverables, schedule, payment terms (50/50 split is standard: deposit on signing, balance on completion), insurance requirements, cancellation policy, change-order policy.

Standard cancellation policy: within 14 days of show date, the deposit is non-refundable. Outside 14 days, deposit is refundable minus pre-production work already performed.

Insurance and indemnification.

AnyDay Live carries multi-million-dollar general liability insurance, full California workers comp, auto coverage, and production equipment coverage. We add clients and venues as additional insureds at no charge. COIs delivered within 24 hours of request; 2 hours rush available with venue's exact language.

Intellectual property.

Content we create specifically for your event (lighting design files, custom content, scenic drawings) becomes yours upon final invoice payment. Generic AnyDay Live methodology, gear configurations, and operational documentation remain ours.

Footage captured during your event is yours. We retain the right to reference the engagement publicly (as a case study, in marketing materials) only with your written permission per the engagement contract.

Force majeure.

Standard force majeure clauses apply: events of natural disaster, government action, civil unrest, pandemic, labor strike at a venue, or similar events beyond reasonable control that prevent performance, are not breaches. Standard re-scheduling and partial-cost-reimbursement protocols apply per the SOW.

Dispute resolution.

Disputes are governed by California law. Venue for any dispute is Los Angeles County. We strongly prefer to resolve disputes directly via email or phone before any escalation; in 99% of cases, this works.

Changes to these terms.

Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a "last updated" date. Engagements signed before the change continue under the terms in effect at the time of signing.

Contact.

Email hello@anydaylive.com for contract questions. For pre-signing legal questions, we can arrange a call with our outside counsel.
