Premiere Event Production
The red carpet. The room.
The press that publishes.
Premiere event production in Los Angeles for Hollywood film premieres, streaming-platform launch nights, theatrical world premieres, and red-carpet press events at the Egyptian, the Chinese, the Academy Museum, Lincoln Center West, and private soundstage premieres across LA.
Red-carpet AV engineered for the photographers pit, step-and-repeat lighting calibrated for the cover shot, in-theatre presentation tuned to the spec the filmmakers brought, and an after-party rig that knows when to lift the room and when to let it talk.
What scales with you.
The same crew that runs a 280-person independent filmmaker premiere at a Culver City soundstage runs a 1,100-person studio theatrical premiere at the Chinese Theatre with a 200-foot red carpet. The variables change. The discipline does not. Carpet lit for the photographers pit. In-theatre presentation calibrated to the venue's installed system. After-party rig that knows when to be quiet and when to lift.
Premiere event production in Los Angeles is the discipline of producing three different shows in one evening — the carpet for the press, the screening for the filmmakers, the party for the room. Each one has its own audience, its own lighting plan, its own audio shape, its own cue stack. They are not the same show repeated. They are three shows engineered to feel like one continuous evening.
For a 1,100-person Chinese Theatre studio premiere with a 200-foot red carpet, that is typically four ARRI SkyPanel S60 keys distributed across the carpet length, a custom step-and-repeat fabricated by our scenic partner, calibration to the venue's Dolby Atmos cinema system for the screening, and a after-party rig at an adjacent Hollywood Roosevelt suite with L-Acoustics A15 distributed audio.
For a 280-person Culver City soundstage independent premiere, the rig flexes to a single-venue all-night setup — one calibrated key for the smaller carpet, a portable Dolby Atmos-spec audio rig the filmmakers can sign off on, a single after-party DJ setup on a Pioneer DJM-V10 with CDJ-3000s. Same discipline, different scale. Same crew on every job.
Questions before the brief.
What is the scale range for premieres you produce?
Anywhere from a 250-person private soundstage premiere with a single venue to a 1,500-person multi-venue evening (theatre + carpet + after-party). The discipline scales — carpet lit for the photographers pit first, in-theatre presentation calibrated to the filmmakers' spec, after-party rig that knows when to lift the room.
How do you handle the photographers pit on the carpet?
The carpet is lit for the pit FIRST. Step-and-repeat key light positioned to render the talent and the branded backdrop accurately on camera — controlled fall-off, no hot-spots, color temperature calibrated to the brand palette. Distributed RF for walk-up interviews. The carpet exits onto an interior holding area before the screening starts.
Can you calibrate to the venue's installed cinema system?
Yes. For Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX, or any of the major installed cinema sound systems, we send the audio engineer ahead to calibrate to the room a day before doors. House projector calibration to the DCP spec is part of the same advance. The filmmakers get the film the way they delivered it.
What about scenic and step-and-repeat fabrication?
Step-and-repeat backdrops fabricated through our three vetted LA scenic partners — tension-fabric, hard-flat construction, modular for breakdowns. Hidden lighting integrated into the backdrop architecture. The brand reads in every photo, in every angle, across the entire carpet.
How do we start a conversation?
Email hello@anydaylive.com with venue or venues, premiere date, expected guest count split (carpet vs in-theatre vs after-party), studio or platform if applicable, and a one-paragraph brief on the film and the moment. We come back inside one business day with questions, a draft scope, a draft run-of-show, and the names of the people who will actually be on the carpet.
